Have you ever considered opening your own store?
If you were to open a store, what sort of products would your store carry?
Now, imagine that you can open your very own store for FREE.
More than likely, you probably already know that you can, in fact, do this thanks to the many e-commerce platforms that are available today. Once you open your store, however, you then have to somehow fill it with products to sell, right?
Which types of products would you carry, and where would you get your products from?
What if I told you that I could manufacture virtually any type of product for you that you needed me to, in mass quantity?
What if I also told you that you don’t have to have a physical inventory of the products in your store, because I would ship the products on your store’s behalf directly to your customers as they ordered them and, on top of that, I would even put the name of your store on the packaging instead of the name of my company?
Sounds awesome, right? Wait, it gets better.
What if I also gave you the ability to add, remove or customize the products in your store at will with just a few clicks of a mouse?
For people who have no clue what dropshipping is, that would all sound way to good to be true. However, it turns out that, thanks to the dropshipping business model, you can have everything that I just mentioned, because that is exactly what dropshipping is!
Here’s how it works in a nutshell. You, the online retailer, have your online retail store where you can list and sell virtually any products that you can think of. Your only job is to get customers to visit that store.
Whenever customers buy products from you, I, the manufacturer then manufacture those products. After which I put said products into packaging that has your store’s name and logo on it, and ship them directly to your customers while you make a nice profit! You gotta LOOOOOVE dropshipping!
In today’s post, I’m going to talk about the benefits of dropshipping, and give you a nice list of online platforms that make this business format possible.
So, what are the benefits of dropshipping?
Off the top of my head, I can think of 7 incredible benefits that come with dropshipping. Here they are:
- Most dropshipping platforms are free to register to, and some will even give you your own online storefront if you don’t have one already.
- Dropshipping enables you to add, remove or even customize the products in your store with just a few clicks of your mouse.
- With dropshipping, you do not have to keep a physical inventory, in fact, you never have to physically deal with any of the products at all.
- You don’t have to pay for any of the products either until your customers pay you first.
- You also never have to ship anything anywhere ever.
- In most cases, you don’t need to provide customer service, because the manufacturer or wholesaler does it for you.
- The manufacturers or wholesalers do most of the work, while you get all the profit!
Now, let’s take a look at some dropshipping platforms that will allow you to get started for FREE.
